The Asia Pacific Brands Foundation (APBF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion and improvement of branding standards in Malaysia and the Asia Pacific.
Administered by a Board of Governors, it was set up in August 2004 by a group of dedicated professionals who had a strong interest and desire in nation building. This was further inspired by the call of the fifth Prime Minister of Malaysia, YAB Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, that "Branding Malaysia is the next big task".
The International Association for Measurement and Evaluation of Communication (AMEC) is the global trade body and professional institute for agencies and practitioners who provide media evaluation and communication research. Since its formation in London in 1996 with just 7 members, it has grown into a trade body whose purpose is to define and develop the industry on an international scale with better professional standards for both companies and individuals.
FIBEP unites a wide range of companies located around the world, who serve their clients with tailor-made monitoring and analysis of the Press. FIBEP members work to their clients' orders, often within strict parameters, helping them manage their press relations.
FIBEP holds a 4-day congress, usually in the country of one of its members. Member firms attending FIBEP Congresses are represented by their owners and top managers.
